Thank you very much for visiting the Internet home of The Capstone Quartet,
headquartered near Tuscaloosa, AL. We welcome this opportunity to introduce you to our
ministry or perhaps welcome you back for a return visit. Whether you've known us since we
began in 1992 or are just meeting us for the first time, we'd welcome the chance to get
to know you better by making an appearance at your place of worship or having you join us in a concert soon.
Those interested in our ministry will often ask what it would take for us to come to their church.
The answer is always, "just ask". Since forming in 1992, we're proud to have never required a guaranteed amount to sing in any church -
that holds true from Florida to New York to Texas, and God has always met our needs.
So, if you'd like to have us come to your church for a concert,
homecoming, revival, youth rally, festival or other event, contact us today!
We hope you'll take a moment to look around and learn more About Us,
glance at our Schedule, listen to our Music or
visit our Contact page to find out how to schedule us for your next event.
Capstone welcomes Jonathan Wilson.

Capstone completes recording at Crossroads Studio in Arden, NC!
Session leader Danny Crawford teamed up with musicians Tony Creasman, Jeremy Medkiff, David Johnson, and Engineer Van Atkins in May to create some great tracks for Capstone's next major project. The guys completed vocals in late June and the CD is currently is post-production. Be watching for the release of "Milk & Honey" coming later this summer!!!
LINER NOTES Today's featured hymn from our recently-released double-CD set entitled "Timeless" is Softly And Tenderly (Will L. Thompson, 1880). When the world-renowned lay preacher, Dwight L. Moody, lay on his death bed in his Northfield, Massachusetts, home, Will Thompson made a special visit to inquire as to his condition. The attending physician refused to admit him to the sickroom, and Moody heard them talking just outside the bedroom door. Recognizing Thompson’s voice, he called for him to come to his bedside. Taking the Ohio poet-composer by the hand, the dying evangelist said, “Will, I would rather have written ‘Softly and Tenderly Jesus is Calling’ than anything I have been able to do in my whole life.” Scriptural Reference: "And Jesus stood still, and commanded him to be called. And they call the blind man, saying unto him, Be of good comfort, rise; he calleth thee." - Mark 10:49 KJV
